District Days 2006

One of the highlights of Friday evening was the Ritual Fashion Show.

The ladies of ΔΙ (University of Delaware) were kind enough to take to the catwalk, while the audience identified outfits that were "appropriate" or "inappropriate" for ritual.

Appropriate attire included all white outfits with dressy shoes, stockings, tasteful makeup, and appropriately small jewelry. Pins were always on the left (over the heart) with the guard appropriately placed down and to the left.

Some of the inappropriate attire included:

  • A halter with bare midriff
  • Colored underwear that showed through
  • Sunglasses for a headband
  • Large, colorful, and jangling jewelry
  • Khaki pants (in place of whites)
  • Flip-flops
  • Clothing that is too tight
  • Skirts that are too short
  • Pin on the wrong side

Can you spot the appropriate and inappropriate outfits in our slideshow?

Thanks to Becky Paullin, Lauren Ackermann and the ladies of ΔΙ for putting this together!
