Advisors

Alpha Sigma Alpha is now offering advisor certification programming in conjunction with each 2011-2012 District Day event. The goal of the advisor certification program is to prepare all advisors to support our collegiate chapters and have a successful advising experience. The certification program will focus on chapter operations, coaching, and advisory board management.

If you're attending the advisor certification program, you do not need to register for District Day, but you do need to register for advisor certification. Note that there is some pre-session reading required, so please register as soon as possible so you have time to complete the pre-work.

Philanthropy

Opportunities will be available to support the Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation, including a fun stuff-the-bag raffle and a constellation honoring star members, so be sure to bring money to participate. If you'd like to donate items to the raffle, please complete the raffle donation form.

Both collegiate and alumnae chapters are encouraged to take part in the Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation District Day Challenge!

Challenge details: Hold a chapter fundraiser for the Foundation before District Day. All alumnae and collegiate chapters are eligible to participate. Then create a 2-3 minute presentation about your fundraiser to present at District Day. Prizes will be awarded for most creative fundraiser and most money raised. Winning chapters will receive recognition at the event, on the website, and on Facebook and Twitter! For more information, contact the district facilitator, Marcia Jacquette, or view the flyer.
