Zeta Nu Chapter performing The Vagina MonologuesKudos to the ladies of Alpha Sigma Alpha's Zeta Nu Chapter on their fundraiser for Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley. The women raised over $1,300 to benefit this place of safety for victims of abuse.

On February 7, 2009, the women performed The Vagina Monologues, a play by Eve Ensler, at the Prosser Auditorium of Moravian College. The play was a part of a whole V-Day fundraiser, which also included a silent auction and a donation bake sale.

Attendees also had the opportunity to preorder the book Free to Be, which the chapter women helped to compile, write, and edit with residents of Turning Point. The book will be available in May 2009 and proceeds will again benefit Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley. Excerpts from the book were read during the play's brief intermission.

The audience thanked the performers with a standing ovation. Congratulations to the entire cast on a fabulous performance of a powerful play: Kristina Crescente, Elizabeth Festa, Jennifer Balliet, Molly Russo, Rebeka Houska, Julia Damiani, Janine Noel, Jordan Pesce, Grace Teodosio, Katie Morash, Caitlin Adolph, Isabella Kost, Kelly Gallagher, Naomi Gai, and Carli Timpson.
