Congratulations to Sara Shuttleworth Lipsett, KK, on being elected to the township council of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, in November 2007 for a 4-year term. This is her first elected office; she previously served on the town's zoning board and historical commission.

A graduate of Temple University, Sara earned a bachelor's degree in communications and worked in public relations. As a collegian, she served as president of Kappa Kappa Chapter. Currently, she is a member of Philadelphia Metro Alumnae Chapter.

Sara and husband Jack have two daughters, Annie and Jane. Sara is president of the PTA and is also a Girl Scout Brownie troop leader.
