On Saturday, May 19, 2007, Philadelphia Metro Alumnae Chapter and New York City Big Apple Alphas met in Manhattan for lunch and a Broadway show. The group, which included a few of the Philly members’ mothers, enjoyed calamari, roasted veggies, and pepperoni pizza at John’s Pizzeria near Times Square.

The show was a musical comedy, The Drowsy Chaperone. Afterwards, some of the ladies stopped for dessert: New York cheesecake, of course.

The two chapters enjoyed the day’s events and each other’s company. Plans are in the works to get together again next year.
