Things I Wish I Knew Then: Panel Discussion Alumnae and collegiate panel At the end of their college career, many sorority members reflect back on what their chapter has given to them and what lies ahead. This session will focus on things to expect in the transition to life after college. Also learn how to become an active alumnae.
AΣA Policies for Alumnae Chapters Marcia Jacquette, District 2 Facilitator If you graduated some time ago, you may not be too familiar with the ASA policies and procedures—some of which apply to you and your chapter. This session is a crash course in the top policies you need to know, and a chance to ask questions about national policies in general.
Ace a Behavioral-Based Interview Christine Bry, Recruitment Coaching Team member Learn more about what a behavioral-based interview consists of and how you can apply your experiences with your chapter to show off your talents to a prospective employer. You will be involved in group discussion and role play.
Scrapbooking for Anyone Lynne Marie Capraro Cona, District Advisory Board Liaison Learn how to safely take care of photos and memorabilia so they can be enjoyed today and always. In this session, we will go over photo safety and scrapbooking techniques that can be used anywhere. Bring your scrapbooks and photos to sample some tools and get some hands-on experience!
Care-frontation Kristy DiGiacomo and Heidi Cox Cocca, Greater Valley Forge Alumnae Chapter How do you communicate . . . talking, body language, with your actions? Learn how to recognize your communication style, so that you can avoid negative confrontations.
Accountability in Your Life Kelly Sprout, Education Coaching Coordinator Does your chapter foster sisterhood between members? Do chapter members respect the dignity of sisters while embracing the free exchange of ideas and beliefs? Join us to share ideas to improve chapter relations, morale, and how it can help you develop into a woman of poise and purpose.
Recruitment Roundtable Katie Peoples, Drexel University Coordinator for Fraternity & Sorority Life, and Stefanie Spatola, Recruitment Coaching Team member This session will focus on recruitment techniques that will allow you to build your chapter with quality women. The techniques will include individual, chapter, and Panhellenic practices that will assist in building a stronger chapter. Never say "oops" about a member again!
