Finding dominant beauty in nature
The October weather couldn't have been better for a fall foliage tour of Mt. Cuba Center, a horticultural institution in Greenville, Delaware.
Representatives of the Central PA, Wilmington, DE, and Philadelphia Metro Alumnae Chapters gathered on October 18, 2008, for a tour of the house and gardens of Mt. Cuba Center and learned about the plants native to the Appalachian Piedmont Region. The group saw lots of varieties of asters, ASA's fall flower. After the tour, the ladies chatted and networked over lunch at Pure Bread Deli.
The Central PA Alumnae Chapter sponsors a regional gathering of alumnae chapters every October.
